Theresa Laughlin Silver
Theresa is a construction and environmental lawyer with an environmental engineering bachelor's degree. She has represented clients from across the country including developers, owners, contractors, and material suppliers. She is a former partner in a prestigious Indianapolis based construction law firm.
Prior to law school, she worked as an environmental and transportation engineering designing municipal water and wastewater systems as well as transportation projects. She received her law degree from Valparaiso University School of Law and her civil engineering degree from Purdue University.
She has published numerous articles in The Construction Zone and in the American Bar Association's journal for the Forum on the Construction Industry, Construction Lawyer, on topics ranging from construction disputes to green building.
Theresa and her family live in West Lafayette, Indiana. She has stepped away from the active representation of clients to work full-time with her children, aged 10, 8, and 5. She is an assistant little league coach and religious education teacher at St. Thomas Aquinas Center at Purdue. Theresa is passionate about literacy and enjoys running.
